About
“Send the eagle’s answer–more ships,” this vividly-colored poster reads. Above the lettering, a large golden eagle flies across a battle scene, mouth open in what could be a cry of victory or a cry for help. Beneath it loosely-drawn ships cut through a gray sea. Both they and the eagle are heading towards a shock of red on the painting’s right side–perhaps a city in flames that needs saving.
